Pakistan has invited Sri Lanka after India canceled its 2009 tour of Pakistan as they will play 3 ODI series first of the two phase series bisected by Indian tour of Sri Lanka for 5 ODI and a T20. Sri Lanka will be the first team touring terror hit Pakistan after last year Asia Cup.

Sri Lanka will play 3 ODI starting from Tuesday, 20th January, 2009 in the first phase and then return home to host India and will play 3 test matches in the second phase.
