Pakistan scored handsome uns in the first ODI after a slow start on difficult pitch as new comer Khalid Latif scored half century and then Afridi and Akmal scored quick runs. Then all the bowlers done their jon to bowled out New Zealand on 149 runs.

New Zealand started well with the bowl but lost momentum as they given so many runs in the end and their batting is really a worry specially Brandon McCullum as he is not giving good start to the team.
