Pakistan Team, Squad for 1st Test vs Sri Lanka - 5 New Players

Pakistan's selectors announced 15 member team for the first test against Sri Lanka, included 5 new players and also recalled middle order batsman Asim Kamal. 2 match test series starting from Saturday, 21st February, 2009. Sohail Tanvir and Shahid Afridi has been ignored for the test.

Ahmed Shehzad rewarded for his 146 runs against Sri Lanka in the practice game to get a surprise call as he was not in the list of probables. Fast bowlers Mohammad Talha and Sohail Khan, opener Khurram Manzoor and allrounder Fawad Alam will also included in the team for the first time.
